The Remote Design Service provides you with a fully bespoke design for your site. We supply a 3D image for you to be able to visualise the concept and a copy of the CAD file for your local engineer to prepare your planning.
This service is an affordable route for clients who want the insight, knowledge, and creativity of our award-winning architecture.
The service is also ideal for those who want high quality design but are more comfortable with using someone local to oversee their project.
The service includes;
- Video call consultation
- initial designs
- revisions
- 3D CGI image of your design
- CAD file for your local engineer/technician to prepare your planning application/construction drawings
Our rates are broken into three easy categories
| Houses less than 1,500 ft² and extensions: | £1.90+VAT per ft² |
| Houses between 1,500 – 3,000 ft²: | £1.70+VAT per ft² |
| Houses over 3,000 ft²: | £1.50+VAT per ft² |
*minimum fee £2500+vat
FAQs
We want to renovate/extend our home, can we use this service?
Yes, this service also covers alterations to existing homes. For that, we require a set of existing pland and elevations to base our designs on. If you don't have access to a copy of your plans, a survey can be arranged for an extra fee.
Do you visit?
No we don't. This service is achievable by technology, using online maps, surveys, and photos provided by you, to create your bespoke design. This has allowed us to design homes as far away as Canada!
Can I still use 2020 Architects for the planning application or construction drawings?
Yes, if you would like any additional services after the design stage, we can provide you with a quote for these services.
How is the area calculated to determine the price?
The overall fee is calculated using the external footprint of the house (on each storey).
Extensions and renovations are calculated using the external footprint of the extension (on each storey) and the area of any rooms which are subject to alterations.
